COVID-19 UPDATE, a message from Owner and Cheesemaker, Marie-Laure:
As a cheesemaker, third-party audited, inspected by the Town of Dudley, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, as well as the Food and Drug Administration, I can assure you that the cheeses I send to you are not only beautiful and delicious, they are safe. Since becoming a cheesemaker, my obsession with washing my hands has become... impressive. So when this Coronavirus came to light, I had never felt so prepared to face the challenge of heightened cleanliness. The cheese facility is near my home so I am the one prepping and packaging all of your cheese, having asked my two employees to take care of themselves by staying in their homes. I will continue to serve the needs of my neighbors, near and far, as long as you wish.

Your cheeses are handmade and hand cut to order. This means that we aim for the sizes listed on our website, but sometimes the product may be a little smaller or a little larger.
We also make cheese based on demand, which means that we do not have a lot of soft cheeses lying around just hoping to be purchased. The shelf life on these fresh styles is shorter than one may be used to when shopping in a grocery store because we don't use any preservatives. All this to say that we will notify you as soon as possible if we are out of stock on an item. We will authorize your card when you purchase with us, but we will only charge you once your cheeses are ready to ship.
We offer two kinds of purchasing like what you might find on a fancy restaurant menu: 1) Prix fixe, which means you pay one price and we take care of everything from cheese selection to presentation to shipping, and 2) A la carte, which means you select the number and kinds of cheeses you want and add on flat rate or free shipping (for orders over $75 within New England). The first option is the prettiest, no-fuss choice. The second option works well if you select many cheeses; not just one or two.
2) A la carte : The following is flat rate shipping throughout the contiguous United States on all other products:
Southern New England: FREE for orders over $75 or $23.20
Northern New England: FREE for orders over $75 or $24.30
U.S.A beyond New England: $47.00
These shipping prices include our biodegradable insulated boxes and ice packs to keep your cheeses cold. Prices are subject to change at any time.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of your items. Please make every effort to order well ahead of any deadlines you may have. It's best to keep our cheeses waiting in a fridge rather than hoping they reach their destination on time.
IMPORTANT: We only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure arrival prior to the weekend. Warehouses are not refrigerated and your cheeses will be sad if they're not with you before the weekend.
We are not responsible for any damages incurred by improper handling of your parcel during transit. As illustrated above, we take every precaution to protect our cheese-babies during shipping and we pride ourselves in getting you your cheeses quickly and beautifully. Occasionally our shippers will make mistakes. Please inform us immediately, with photos, of any problems you have upon receipt. In some cases we may be able to make a claim with the shipper and offer reimbursement.
HOLIDAY SEASON 2019 (Update for 2020 in October)
PLEASE NOTE that any orders placed between noon EST on Tuesday November 12th and noon EST on Friday December 13th may only be for our Cheesemaker's Gift Box or our Cheesemaker's Big Gift Box. We are unable to process individualized gift boxes during 'high season' and have created two options for your cheesy gift-giving needs. Please inform us if we must avoid including un-pasteurized cheeses.
Deadline to order is Friday December 13th at noon EST. Gift Boxes will ship on Monday December 16th, 2019 for an estimated arrival one week BEFORE Christmas. This is to avoid any possible delays. Please refrigerate immediately upon arrival (and try not to eat it all before you promised yourself you would).
